Meet the Team
That Raises the Bar

Julie Lamberth
I’ve taught the LSAT since 2002, working with thousands of students and serving as Kaplan’s national LSAT Product Manager. I’ve written countless explanations, helped design new curricula, and know the test inside out—how it’s built, what it rewards, and the patterns that repeat. My approach is skills-first: don’t memorize; learn a clear, repeatable process for each question type so you work smarter, not harder. I also helped design Kaplan’s Bar Review (launched 2008), have written outlines, MCQs, model essays/MPTs, and grade thousands of practice essays every year.
While my focus is on UBE preparation, I’ve worked on curriculum and graded student practice essays for every jurisdiction that administers the bar exam.

Mickey Maloney
I’m an LSAT tutor with 1,000+ hours of teaching. I raised my own score from a shaky first practice to a 95th-percentile official score and have helped many students make similar jumps. I treat the LSAT as a learnable, skills-based exam: use clear, repeatable processes for each question type so you work smarter, not harder. I hold an MFA from Emerson (with prior study in Philosophy and Creative Writing) and have also coached soccer, English, and chess—helping players reach top clubs, win tournaments, and discover a love of literature. My goal: give you a deep grasp of the test so you’re confident on exam day.

Keith was an incredible bar tutor and truly one of the biggest reasons I was able to pass. My weakest section going into the exam was the MPT, and Keith zeroed in on that right away. What stood out was how hands-on his approach was—he didn’t just assign practice tasks and walk away. Instead, he sat with me as I wrote MPTs in front of him, coaching me step by step as I worked through the analysis, organization, and time management.
This live, real-time feedback made all the difference. It forced me to think like the exam graders and helped me break bad habits I didn’t even realize I had. By working so intensely on the MPT, I also saw my MEE scores improve dramatically by osmosis—a 35-point jump on my written score overall. That was the margin I needed to clear the 270 jurisdiction cut score, and I don’t think I would’ve hit it without Keith.
Overall, Keith is an amazing tutor—patient, strategic, and incredibly effective. He single-handedly helped me turn my weakest section into one of my strongest. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for that extra push to get across the finish line.
